Freidberger and the Pere Marquette

Has anyone seen the new book, "Lost Towns of Eastern Michigan" by Alan Naldrett? I have a copy and while it is very interesting there does seem to be a few shortfalls. for instance he shows a picture of the elevator in Tyre and labels it as the railroad station.
This my question in chapter 11 he talks about towns, "That died when the railroad stopped coming". he has listed Freidberger as having been on the stagecoach route from Tyre I think for mail delivery and that it later was a stop on the Pere Marquette. I can't for the life of me see anywhere that the PM came near Feidberger. Does anyone else out there know differently? Does he perhaps have this town confused with some other? Thanks Dennis H.
