Yes the DBC&W is the line I'm referring too.Very interesting Because this plat map I found of Akron circa 1902 if I remember right, shows this line crossing the main road heading straight north right about at the municipal building location today. I'm thinking the map has it wrong because I can still see traces of the line crossing at a north west Angie in google earth I. The black and white aerial views. Not straight north. And yes I noticed what looks like part of the line heading to the east just south of town. I did not know there used to be a coal mine there at that location. Very interesting. I wish I had a more highly detailed map of Akron where it shows the exact route of the DBC&W.
