Thank You for posting the pictures. The home looks beautiful! The last time I was on the property was 1952 the year my Grand Mother moved to Lake City. My memory of it was as a little kid, playing in the barn and exploring around. Down behind the old barn, just before the railroad grade was a creek. The creek widened there, this was the "frog pond". Following the grade across Gray Rd. was the "sand hill", another place we played!
I have been past there as an adult in the 1960's & 70's but didn't know who owned it. Never stopped! I grew up in Detroit, going up there was a different world!
What I understand is my Grand Father built the house is sections over a period of time. As the family grew so did the house.
