What appears to be the siding (left track) was definitely used as the main as long as I can remember. The track straight through the switch was used as the siding. There were often refers parked there for loading canned condensed milk (no ice necessary) at the Carnation plant. They had "Return when empty to Grand Trunk Western, Sheridan, Michigan" painted on their sides. The track on the right was one of two sidings on the north side of Carnation, next to the main. I'll look around for a map.
