From late 1982 until sometime in 1984 MIGN operated from Alma to Frankfort. Service from Yuma to Cadillac was daily for sand traffic. Service from Cadillac to Alma averaged a weekly trip usually to deliver NGL to Alma and some other local business. Service from Yuma to Frankfort as needed.
4. Final questions for anyone: Was the old C&O line from Manistee up to Grawn/TC still intact during the MIGN years ? Did the MIGN run up toward Grawn ?
MIGN picked up Grawn to Williamsburg in 1982 or 83 as well as Petoskey to Charlevoix. Service on these two segments were not subsidized by the state of MI IIRC.
