Re. Sandusky Sub Track condition...

My 1969 Chesapeake and Ohio Operator's timetable/manual shows the track speed for the entire 7.1 mile sub as 30 mph. Pretty good allowable speed for that sub. Also, it shows the entire sub as being operated under rule S-242, which I haven't a clue as to what that was. Weight restrictions were not to exceed 263,000 lbs. 85 foot flats were allowed on sub, but not to exceed 15 mph around the Poland Wye. No other instructions printed concerning the Sandusky Sub.
