GAP is correct. After the DSS&A passenger train service which consisted of a RDC budd car between Ishpeming and St. ignace made its final run January 12, 1958 the remaing passenger train service on the DSS&A continued between Champion and Calumet the Copper Country Limited until the DSS&A merged with the Soo Line January 1, 1961 and the Copper Country Limited continued as a Soo Line train until its final run March 7-8, 1968. Operating crews on both the Ishpeming-St. Ignace passenger train and the Copper Country Limited were all based out of Marquette. The C&NW passenger train, The Peninsula 400, departed Ishpeming on its final run July 15, 1969. Operating crews on the latter train were based out of Escanaba and worked between Ishpeming and Green Bay(WI).
