Johnny Benson the race car / truck driver's dad was the normal conductor that worker the yard 2nd trick which was the shift that switched the yard. He was not Mr Personality. I'd take my young daughter with me to see what the traffic north and south was. He wouldn't look at us or acknowledge our presence. Pretty standard Conrail reception in those days. Only one time while I was setting in the then LG Cook parking lot did a Conrail crew waiting for a signal to go south wave us up on the engine. Must have been an extra board crew, wasn't the regular guy LOL
