Leo, I'm not an expert on this but from everything I've read you are correct and when MIGN was operating the Alma-Frankfort segment the sand from Yuma went south from Cadillac to CR in Grand Rapids.
Service between Cadillac and Alma consisted of a weekly train that mostly carried NGL to the refinery in Alma. I'm not aware of much if any interchange between MIGN and TSBY (operator of the Alma-Ann Arbor segment).
