I think it is Burlington not Tekonsha
Homer is east of Tekonsha 
According to the map it was the Battle Creek, Coldwater and Southern Railway
the next diamond west would have been Fairfax then Wasepi. 
This bing map is of the area at Burlington where the diamond was or was planned to be (V drive south and 12 mile road)
Burlington is just to the northwest
