It's not looking good for the PM switcher decals to come back any time real soon, but I'm still working on it.
The problem is one of finding a silk screen or offset printing-based supplier after my old supplier got out of the decal business. The "usual" other sources either refuse to print both colors as a single piece of decal (Rail Graphics), or want to print it on an ALPS printer (most others).
If I felt that printing that set on an ALPS could produce acceptable results, I'd run it myself, but the yellow never comes out right on an ALPS, and by the time that I get enough layers of color to get the color close, the decal ends up being too thick and brittle to bend around the corners of the hood without cracking.
Microscale could run them, but I'm more than a little hesitant to commit to a minimum production run that would be equal to the number of sets I've sold over the last 16 years. Shelf life would become a serious issue. The alternative would be to have Microscale run the set, then adjust the price to compensate for the sets that will become unusuable before I can sell them and people can use them.
Kadee has recently begun offering a decal production service which might be a possibility. So far, I've yet to hear any positive feedback on it, though.
