Just a note to our dear friend Mark Worral...
Thank you so much for sending me the pic and the newspaper artical. for those of you that dont know. Mark posted a pic on here over a year ago of a Pollyann passenger and a Pollyann frieght having an unscheduled meet behind the old Kingston high school back in 1911.
The crew escaped death or serious injury because they all jumped from both engines. Who the hell needs timetables anyways.
One of those crew members that jumped was the conductor who was my great uncle seen in the photo wishing his day had not gone the way it did.
What a wonderful pic and verifying newspaper artical that confirmed my Uncle Marsh in the pic. Thanks again Mark. Hope everyone buys your book and passes this wonderful railroad heritage on to all future generations
