Then and Now, PM Boat Yard Port Huron

Just some photos spanning 4 to 8 years of change in Port Huron. The wrath of Achesen Ventures removed the yard and most railroad related landmarks. SRI used some of the rail, the depot was gutted and restored / modernized and a cut off spur was left in the yard for reasons unknown to me (they disconnected it from CSX and repaved the 10th street grade crossing). According to their plans, this project should have progressed a lot more. A marina, apartments, outdoor theater, park, natural wetlands area, etc. were all supposed to be completed. Tough economic time surely stopped that. Enjoy... if you can. Dan
