I haven't kept up to date with all the gossip and controversy so it was all very interesting. Congrats to Alan and Lorna on their wedding and I hope the next tournie gets sorted out soon with Darren Heath being allowed to play seeing as he made such a big contribution to the Quasar scene returning to England. Most of you probably know now that we have a new player in Wilson who has been outstanding in the last couple of weeks I've been. Really good to see a new player get so far, I never thought I'd see the day when we'd take on a new player. But after practising with the "new look" Borg for the 2nd time made me realise that something has finally come to an end. My team have had a million talks about quitting and not having enough time for Quasar and we all thought when one of us stops we all would, but that hasn't necessarily proved to be the case. Don't know if this is a permanent thing or not but for the others to bring in a new player I take it this retirement is very much for real. So Sean if your reading I'd like to say thanks for all the sweat blood and tears buddy you've put in over the years, I've been playing alongside you now for the best part of a decade and if that's the end things won't be the same anymore. Borg has been the closest team that's ever existed in Quasar and the 5 of us have had the best times I think I can remember. Coz of you we've been on top now for so long and I know the desire might not be there anymore but it's something you should be proud of. Tournie after tournie you've saved our arses us with massive performances. Winner of the 2's in Tallaght and South Sheilds, joint winner of the 1's in Bedford and too many tournie wins to list must make you one of the most successful players ever in the UK and if you quit it shouldn't go unnoticed. So to the orginator of the standing cancel I salute you, make sure you keep in contact buddy cuz it ain't just about the Q.... Wu
