Looking at the map's aerial feature, it is not as isolated as it appears. All that glass may be a drawback in the winter, if you have nosy neighbors.
I don't think that the kitchen would meet any prospective buyer's taste. 1950's amenities do not meet 2000's standard wants.
My assumption would be that the furniture is included for the reason you stated.
