Billy Powell: Lynyrd Skynyrd Keyboardist, RIP

Billy Powell died this morning at his home in Northeast Florida. The apparent cause was a heart attack.

It was Powell's skill and prowess as a piano player that helped to make Lynyrd Skynyrd into the legend of Southern Rock that they are.
