Well, my sister was so beautiful. She had both our mom and dad walk her down the aisle. Unfortunately, neither David or I had a camera so we couldn't take pictures...but even if we had, the priest didn't allow any picture taking during the ceremony.
Li'l David and Lauren...wow!! I always knew that my kids are good looking, but OMG! Li'l David looked so dapper and debonair in his tuxedo. And Lauren...she was gorgeous. She wore a red, strapless dress, red headband, black shoes and a black necklace. She was the prettiest bridesmaid there.
The reception was fun. For the first part, we all sat outside and had dinner. It was buffet-style and it was Mexican food. It was delicious!! After a little bit, they did the cutting of the cake and desert was served. I've never had wedding cake that tasted so good. It wasn't heavy or overly frosted...it was perfect. My dad made a toast to the newlyweds...then surprised everyone by announcing that my sister is pregnant (don't worry, my sister and her husband knew he was going to do that). After everyone had stopped yelling "Congratulations!!" my father then announced that my sister is expecting twins. Pandemonium then ensued. It was so funny!
The second part of the reception then moved to inside the restaurant so that we could dance. Of course, the first dance was the father-daughter dance, so my sister and our dad started walking towards each other as if they were going to slow dance. Then imagine everyone's surprise when my sister and dad's unique sense of humor kicked in as the DJ started playing "Sexy Back" instead of a slow song.
All in all, everyone had a great time.
