It was just one of those things I had to post. I was surely shocked. I think one of the reasons I liked him so much is his fondness for his dad and for being a good dad himself. It's also one of the things I like about Rick Springfield.
I also deeply respected his reporting on politics. The fact that he said it all came down to Florida several days before the election in 2000, and he was SO right gave me a lot of respect for him. I don't think he just got lucky with that prediction, either. I think he knew the political landscape THAT well.
He's proposed a situation this year that could result in a 269-269 tie in the electoral college. I think it's still too early to know which way this thing is going (Vice-Presidential candidates haven't even been named yet). But, I'm sure Tim would hate to miss this one.
Does anybody else have thoughts about him?
