Even at his peak he was not as physically fit or strong as Bruce Lee, nor as fluid in his style. I can't see how he could gain an advantage or find a window of opportunity in Bruce lee's 'intercepting fist'. I would reckon the odds in a straight head-to-head fight to the death between these two would be heavily weighted in favour of Bruce (7/6 or worse). You'd have a hard time finding odds of less than 400/3 on Chuck. Basically this would reflect the cold, hard fact that Chuck would be dead in rather short order. If only we could see it, huh?

How is this even a debate? Bruce Lee was stronger, faster and fitter than any man alive when he fighting and teaching. He recovered from a broken back and invented a new formless form of martial art, taking each man's individual strength's and weaknesses, building his fighting style around that (such as Basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who's fighting style was based on his magnificent height [7'2"] and remarkable leg strength).
