The players Union has always been a thorn in the side to me. Your bosses take all the risks. Give you opportunities and stand to lose or make money, but at no guarantee of success. They lose money when you play bad and the team doesnt sell as many tickets the next year. Down on concessions, down on jerseys etc. But yet if you show up, make the team and in many cases by showing up you get a big bonus.
Ungratefulness and demands on top of it. Give me the perfect life just as i want it, or I wont play.Try going to your employer and demand 50% of the profits or to see his books. Its none of our business!
People are in it to what? Have fun? Well to make money. Fun can be part of it. But business is risk-reward. It is a shame Unions are part of sports. Its part of the bad side because the fans suffer and the risk takers are being hand cuffed in a bad way.
