I was totally on board with trading Flynn for a high draft pick. But, a Packer friend has changed my mind.
With the Packers having such a realistic chance of repeating next season, I don’t want to trade an important asset from next year team for the future. Poor QB play is the one thing that could derail the Packers next year. With Rodgers concussion issues, it’s important to have good back up. Flynn now looks like he could carry the Packer for a stretch if need be.
So you need to ask yourself is that 2nd round pick worth the depth at the most important position on the team?!?... I say no.
