Yoop, I agree it's okay to criticize Favre for the things he didn't do well. Trust me, his interceptions were getting to even the most ardent Favre fans such as myself. However, I see many completely disregarding him as if he never played with the Packers or as he was somehow diminished in what he did as a Packer. Of course, I disagree with how both he and TT acted during Favres trade. I do think TT was placed in the toughest position in that deal.
I also can't stand the hatred for TT and MM and the thing about it is that many of these people stood up heavily for Mike Sherman, but now show irrational hatred for new coach and gm. I admit I was part of the problem when it came to Mike Sherman hatred and I had some irrational hatred, but I do agree with my father that McCarthy was a better coach for Favre.
I just want both sides to kind of get a grip. People hating Favre because he became a Viking? That's ridiculous. Some will say that it's unfair that he wanted to "stick it" to the Packers and frankly I feel he was just talking as he always does because whenever he talks he tells you about every single feeling he's ever had. Maybe he felt he had the right to be angry with the Packers...I don't agree, but oh well it doesn't diminish what he did as a Packer for me.
