Many 3 point losses and the worst by 4 points. Many injuries that put players out for the season. In some cases perhaps the replacements were better than the starters. I do not think Ryan Grant was missed all that much.
Finley was. Nick Barnett has not been missed and is probably done in GB as Bishop and Hawk have done very well in the middle. Hawk has been responsible for the defensive play calling and line adjustments. The scoring defense has been very good.
They need to jettison Chillars as well. He is an average player and way overpaid. Brad Jones is probably gone too as his replacements have been better than him.Kudo's to Thompson for the pick up of Green to help the defensive line and number 93 at OLB.
Tramone Williams is as good a corner as there is in the league right now. It is sad to see Charles Woodson, with his injuries a mirage of what he was last year.
Crosby has been good again. The punting is the same... inconsistent. What to do there? College punters use a different ball and they get changed from a 3 step to a 2, so you never know what you get.
What QB would you take over Aaron Rodgers right now? I will say, how many have the offensive players to throw to that he does. But then again he has a bad offensive line. Clifton is ok, the right side is just fine, but College and Wells need replaced in order to be able to have a solid run game. Rodgers is better than Manning and equal to Brady.
The team needs a new Special Teams coach. They need to replace Campen as OL coach as well. They also need a better KO return man, and get Williams off of punt returns to protect him.
It all gets down to beating the bears. They sure got hosed in Chicago and in Atlanta and against Miami or no one would have to worry about this weekend. A more experienced back up may have won the Detroit game. Flynn had a whole week before New England and played well. But his inexperience hurts the team somewhat.
