Champagne toast for me tonight....to the greatest football player I will ever have the privilege to watch play the game.
I've waited for this day for almost 2 years....sat in sports bars watching lame Jets games...spending contless hours on the internet waiting to see if he will play for Pack or retire, or Jets or retire, or Vikes or retire and hearing he would take a pass on the best team he would ever have an opportunity to play for...to experience tonight as the final chapter of Favregeddon. Yes, he still has miles to go before he makes it to the Big Game, but I am grateful deep down in my football and cosmic justice soul that he has beaten the Packers two times. Revenge is sweet.
And finally I realize that he is better off..for all the pain and suffering that he experienced from GB management...he is better off playing for the Vikings where he is a huge factor in their success but does not have to go out there and kill himself, because he is just one part (major part) of an all round excellent football team. Imagine if he had stayed in GB and he was in Rodgers place, getting the crap get kicked out of him every week (yes, part of that is on Aaron)...but still ....he is BETTER OFF!
