Let's remember that Longwell sucked in his final year with the Pack and he cost as at least two games as I recall.
also the Longwell signing hardly divided the Packer nation, and people weren't wearing "We'll never forget you Bryan" t-shirts, and Longwell's return to Lambeau didn't draw 22 million viewers, and make the Vikings#8 jersey the top seller in the entire NFL, etc.
With all due respect to Longwell, there's no comparison.
