Just kind of a little thing that I found odd. When Brett Favre lived here in town, he kept his front yard in immaculate shape. A yard service was there twice a week to clean the leaves, mow the lawn, and water the grass all spring, summer, and fall. The weeds were kept out and the trees and bushes were always trimmed.
The new owners moved in last winter, and to say this yard has gone to shit would be an understatement. The lawn has huge patches of dirt where grass used to be, the bushes and landscaping is all overgrown and filled with weeds. I get pissed whenever I drive by thinking, where's your pride man? That was Brett Favre's house, and now it looks like a shit hole.
When I see this house, I can't help but see it as a metaphor for the state of the Green Bay Packers. Truly pathetic.
Something tells me Brett's condo in Eden Prairie has never looked better ...
