I think many Packer fans are being defiant so refuse to say anything good about Brett or bad about the Packer organziation or Rodgers, but the truth is last night was like the end of a movie.
Ted Thompson rolled into town and drafted a QB with their first pick in the first round. He basically announced the clock begins now for when Brett will be replaced. The evil Ted forced Brett off the team, and then in one final FU to Brett, he traded him to "Siberia" in the AFC East, instead of the mutually agreed upon Tampa Bay Bucs and Gruden.
So our hero Brett crawled and fought his way through all the bad guys and made his way back to Minnesota which was the destination that the evil Ted didn't want him in. Brett returned and we had our climactic finish showdown, where the old hero, took on his younger, "faster", "stronger" replacement. And just like a movie, our hero beat this new version of himself and won. All that was missing was Brett walking to Ted on top of the Metrodome saying "You wanted to get rid o' me? Well, here I am!" and Ted screaming "No! No!" and accidentally walking backwards and falling 150 feet to his death. Then Brett walks off into the sunset.
