I just smiled when Brett came out that first series. He has some leadership qualities that Aaron will never have.
I pull for Brett nomatter what team he is on. Personally I think that game was not nearly as close as the final score because the Vikings seemed happy to run clock at one point instead of really playing like they did to get to 30-14. I am wondering why the rip play for the TD was not blown dead. How many minutes does a runner have to be stopped in his progress before the play is whistled dead.
This is a tale of teams heading in different directions. I was surprised this is the one week GB's run defense stepped up.
The throws Brett made last night were amazing. It was vintage Favre. Although I am so sick of the pregame coverage that I could puke, I would not want to be McCarthy and Thompson heading back to GB today. They will live with Monday night forever or unless they can beat Brett at Lambeau which seems unlikely. Brett Favre stuck a dagger in the Packers organization that they clearly deserved.
