Well said and true, Sylvia, but what about the impact on the grant-seeking entities.
The Foundations publicly - Donor Forum &etc. - set the bar for grant-seekers. Grant seekers meet the conditions set. Private Family Foundations are given public attention for their support; if that support is withdrawn in a less than salutory manner might not that be a public matter as well.
e.g. This inner city high school for African American boys thanks the many years of support it has received from the Abner Muchinfuch Foundation and wishes the board of directors well as they move in a new direction -contributing to the Conservatory of Grateful Dead Memorabilia. God's blessings on this new philanthropic pioneering effort!
