Thank you for your reply. What you say makes sense, and what would be most comfortable for me.
I do have a question though: I have read in the literature the recommendation that there be three submissions to foundations for every one you hope to get. How does that fit in with what you are saying? DOes that mean when you submit a grant proposal to a foundation you list the other foundations you have gone to? Ot should I just ignore that recommendation and be sequential as you suggest?
