Tony is correct in his assessment of your situation. You are highly unlikely to attract a grant-writer based on what might come in. A great deal depends on how your "market" perceives your organization. Grants are no substitute for individual gifts. If you are a community-based organization, you will find it eminently more profitable to "get to know your neighbors". Join your local Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, etc., visit your local businesses, have a booth at annual events, etc. To paraphrase, "Those who live solely on grants, will die of malnutrition."
