A 2-day workshop led by DAVID G. BAUER, author of the How To Grants Manual (Oryx Press), launched my first grant writing position. If he is still giving those sessions, it's well worth the cost to travel to one. His concepts enabled me to help our faculty achieve a 97% success rate in funded proposals for the next seven years.
