After working 12 years as an Administrative Assistant for a non-profit C.B.O in District 5 (The Bronx) I was told that our funds have been cut. The news was given to staff 1 week prior to end date of Contract June 30, 2005. So now what? We are without a job because there is no salary, our clients/youth will be with out services due to cutting and shutting down of programs. This is so un just ALL AROUND! Any one in my shoes or can relate ?? Funny - I see that commerical on TV with the mayor stating hes all for "education" yet the City is cutting educational programs! MADNESS!!!
