Merritt - Most grant proposals today are required to have a section on how results of the project will be disseminated. You don't say what area of health you are concerned with, e.g., health manpower education and training, cancer research, community health centers, biological anti-terrorism, health insurance, HIV/Aids, nursing homes, hospitals, kidney dialysis, etc. Each area will usually have its specific best practices listed somewhere. I suggest you contact the appropriate division in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and ask for leads on where you can find best practices. In addition there are numerous websites devoted to best practices in various fields - try a Google search.
