I am helping my brother's non-profit get some grants-I am not a grant writer but I can write. The only issue is: what should my brother pay me? We have heard that 5% on big grants & 10% on smaller ones is the going rate-but what is considered big? I have sent out requests for grants ranging from $2,000 to $250,000 (no responses so far...it's only been 6 months) and while my brother's willing to pay me the going rate, it seems to be a huge industry secret. Can anyone actually quote me some figures? Thanks! Surella
