Thanks, Susan. This agency is losing some of its state funding and is searching for ways to make up the deficit. I will mention the possibility of forming a "friends of" group. There should be enough community interest for this to be a viable option. Another scenario is that the state may close the agency completely, and if that happens, the executive director is considering the possibility of filing for 501 c 3 status.
