Thank you for your honest assessment. I'll be changing some things on the website today accordingly. I need to change our budget as it was 2002 and we've finished the 2003. Our website was designed in Vietnam and is actually very heavy on code as the "Submit a story" feature is pre-formatted. The reason we have so many private college Fellows is the simple reason that public universities are VERY VERY hard to contact. As a rule, they seem to hand over their career centers to online marketing 'schemes' such as eRecruiting and NACElink which require you to pay $15/school to list an opportunity. I keep plugging away but inevitably the ones who need money are the smaller schools with less recruiters, believe it or not. The difference in our program is that trips are self-designed. Applicants do a fair bit of work before they leave and they have to write while traveling. No one assesses their travelers this way, especially the Watson Fellowship which this is semi-based on.
