You're new but have long term debt and it is + to c. 45% of your annual operating budget. Your web site reports only 4 fellowships and all attend private universities. You spent over $7000 d e s i g n i n g a web site. CharityAdvantage would have done similar for $400. There is no documentation of donated or in-kind support. There is no compelling argument as to the larger picture benefits of this travel. Also, there is no mention of evaluation or outcomes measures for this. You don't define or demonstrate financial need. And since two of your listed fellows attended Harvard and Brown, some will question financial need. fairly or not. Compare yourself to SERVAS, Global Exchange, Mercy Corps, or similar groups that sustain travel experience relationships and alliances. There is no service component in your travel or institutional commitment over time. You promise corporate sponsors "banner...advertising" on your web site with a (tax deductible) donation. That may require netting out the true deduction. I'm not clear how fellows are chosen and what your policies are for conflict of interest or marketing.
