Thank you for your response - very helpful! We have filed all necessary documents, and I think that aspect is taken care of. You mentioned the board - is it allowable for the five of us ("project managers") to comprise the board? What about including a spouse on the board (she is a health professional too)?
We really like the model we are setting up: relatively independent project managers/team leaders with regular reporting to and collaboration with the others in the organization. We also like the idea of a global reach and we plan to expand to several countries with our base in the US. Much of what we will do will be research oriented, and this is one of the reaons for our organizational structure.
