We recently sent out an annual appeal and recieved several donations for $1,000+. We are a small non-profit in the beginning stages of our fundraising efforts and see these $1,000 as major gifts. Every donor receives an acknowledgement letter from the ceo. As many of the $1,000+ donors are board member contacts, we would like to send out a more personalized letter from the board member who was the contact and ceo thanking them for their gift.
What type of info should we be sure to include in these more personalized acknowledgement letters to the major donors? Thanks!
