Please don't feel these responses are hostile! The responders here are just trying to guide you, out of the goodness of their hearts. If there were some universally respected certification that is requested by personnel managers during interviews for development positions, or by nonprofit clients looking for documentation of skills from grantwriting consultants, all responding would have been happy to point you in that direction. The truth is that people come into this field from very varied educational and professional backgrounds, and that there exists no industry standard that certifies excellence in grant proposal preparation. You asked for help; it was freely given, even though it wasn't what you'd hoped to hear. Please do not see hostility where it doesn't exist. This is a friendly Board of good and generous people.
