Hi All - I know this is a pretty basic question, but I don't think it was in the archives:
Should I write thank-you letters to Federal agencies (the Department of Ed, for instance) for a grant award? Somehow the program officer doesn't seem like the right person to thank, and I doubt I'd ever have contact with that individual again, anyway.
And what about state agencies? Is it only private foundations that get thank-you's, or do I have the wrong attitude here?
