| In memoriam: Linda Procopio

The editors of Philanthropy News Digest are saddened to share the news that longtime PND Talk participant Linda Procopio has passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Linda was a "VIP" member of this board and had been an active and generous contributor to the community since its launch in 2005. Her treasure-trove of knowledge, built along with her own consultancy, Procopio Fundraising, was a valued resource, and we especially appreciated the way she reached out to new development professionals: her last post, a month before her death, was a helpful answer to a grantwriter. We will miss her terribly, and wish the best to her friends and family, especially her sons, Eric and Jacob Davis, who will continue their mother's professional legacy.
