    Aurelia,
    Welcome back. Nice tease about your novel. When do we get to know about it?

    Ignorance on my part prevails, regarding your simple and only request for an "application form." It's just like me to put in my all even when I do not know the meaning of a few of your points made. I must comment.

    -- Foundations (all which I have known) do not "want" such Board donation participation, but they surely do like it when you can say, for example, that 100% of the Board gave to a campaign. Just because foundations do not for the most part make such a requirement, does not mean we should not strive to obtain such Board participation.

    -- The "campaign" must be to raise money. Right? If for capital or endowment, how could any In-Kind donation of time count for anything? As we know, such donations of time cannot be declared for any value to the IRS for tax-deduction. And they surely cannot count at all for cash needed to pay for a capital project or be entered into an endowment fund.

    -- "Hundreds of articles about this," prompts me to ask about what?

    What am I missing?_:smilies();
