But, Sheryl, you ARE in compliance with the law in your state! You know I have tremendous respect for you. What would be unprofessional would be to violate the laws of your state in a way that puts your clients in a vulnerable position; clearly you aren't doing that. But I stand by my position in NY state; compliance registration is a part of the cost of doing business there, and all NY grantwriting consultants have to build that cost into their fees.
