Jared: The official site for Federal grants is not a .com but a .gov website. A link is included in this post. That said, nothing is perfect with their searches either. You have option to view grants by Agency--you will truly only wish to view those offered by the Dept. of Health and Human Services. This is a very large department. You can also search their website as well. If you find something that looks friendly, phone the contact name listed in the program announcement. These federal employees can assist you to find what you are looking for and can be quite courteous about doing so when you phone. If they cannot help you directly, they might recommend someone in another office/branch. Remember to set yourself apart when you phone: Display the common courtesy of request rather than demand--the basic principals of being friendly goes a long way (because they get many calls which are abrupt, demanding and discourteous). Stand out in the crowd by being polite and you will gain a valuable advocate on the other end of the phone. Hope this helps! Grants.gov
