What is the state of fundraising?

Posted by caljamscott on 2/9/2011, 1:40 pm

    Greetings. I'm new here.

There seems to be a lot of monetary support still going to worthy causes. I'd like to know what are the chances of a new non-profit organization getting on board in this day and age?

My premise is that I'm the only one who taped a Woodstock-like concert of a nationwide broadcast in 1974. I'm trying to revive the gig. Attendance was well over 250,000 for the one day show.

Public interest is not the problem; the problem is hard public and private participation. With stakes like this you can imagine the importance.

Plus there's the issue of clearing the rights. It was only a television show/radio broadcast. Thank you for advice.
