Re: Providing lists of grants awarded to potential clients or employers

Posted by JM28 on 9/2/2010, 7:01 am, in reply to "Providing lists of grants awarded to potential clients or employers"

Hi Andie: I feel comfortable disclosing this type of information when asked and do share a sampling of grants that I have secured over the years. Employers are merely doing their due diligence and seeking an indicator of your knowledge of and connections to the region's funders. I wouldn't feel uncomfortable about "giving out" this information as most organizations' grant funders can be readily found - by whomever - in an annual report or a little internet research. Final thought: be proud of your hard work and share your successes...if you don't, you may not be offered an opportunity for that face to face meeting!
