Providing lists of grants awarded to potential clients or employers

Posted by Andie on 9/1/2010, 11:28 am

For those of you who are Grant Writers, I was wondering how you feel about giving your lists of grants awarded to potential clients or employers? A lot of ads that I am seeing for Grant Writers are requesting a list of grants awarded including amounts with your resume submission.

This really doesnt sit well with me. In my opinion it is like your giving them a free list of foundatins and potential funders that they can look up and you may not even get an interview or the job. I feel like you should not show your cards so to speak until you at least have a face to face meeting.

I was just wondering how others feel about this practice?
