I am a new grant writer from Indiana, and I started my small business in February of this year. I have given a number of potential clients a presentation of what I do and how I do it, but I have to admit that I am having trouble closing the sale. They seem interested in my services, but getting them to sign on the dotted line has been troubling. Hmmm!
So, you who have been around this profession longer, how do you present the grant writer's craft to potential grant seekers who are interested in your services? What am I doing wrong? How do I close the sale?
